More men are dying by suicide

According to the latest statistics more men are dying by suicide. It is said that 75% of suicides are men and the Caucasian community is affected more than any other race. The statistic goes on to say that we loose around 3000 men per year by suicide. This is three times the amount when compared to women. Should we see this as an issue of national importance and offer more supports for men. Could this be lessened with more mental health supports and safe environments for men who are obviously feeling isolated and rejected by the community.
